Walk-in-Screening Test/Interview will be held at Central Electrochemical Research Institute, Karaikudi on 10.04.2012 (Tuesday) for selection of suitable candidates for the temporary positions to be engaged in various projects.

Position & Stipend :  *JRF (Project), 16,000/-p.m (01 Position)

• Essential Qualification : M.Sc in Chemistry with - NET/GATE (or)*NET Qualified for Lectureship
• Project Title : “Exploring Modified Semiconductor Electrode as Sensors and Catalysts”(GAP- 16/10)

• Age limit : 28 years (Tuesday)

Position & Stipend :  JRF (Project), 16,000/-p.m (01 Position)

• Essential Qualification : M.Sc in Chemistry with - NET/GATE (or)*NET Qualified for Lectureship
• Project Title : “Soft Chemical Strategies for the Synthesis of Indium-free-Nano crystalline Transparent Conducting Oxides” (GAP 22/10)
• Date of Interview: 10.04.2012
• Walk-in Interview Location : Karaikudi

* Candidates with NET qualified for Lectureship can also  appear –Stipend will be `.12,000/-p.m

General Conditions:

1. Age relaxation will be given to SC/ST/PH/Women candidate’s upto 5 years and 3 years for OBC for all the above positions as per GOI instructions. 
2. Reservation: As regards reservation, if all things are equal, SC/ST/OBC candidates may be given preference over General candidates so as to ensure their representation.
3. Candidate should possess the required educational qualification as on the date of interview.
4. If the number of candidates is more, the candidates will be short listed for interview through a written test.  
5. The positions are purely temporary for the duration of Project only. It would therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidates for claiming extension or absorption in CECRI/CSIR.
