Eligibility:
- Candidate should have minimum 8-10 years of experience in the automobile retail field at a mid to senior level managerial position.
- Preferably worked as a branch or division head in an existing automobile dealership and handled day to day running of the entire unit. Prior industry experience is preferred, either at another automobile dealership or at a manufacturer level.
- Workshop and after sales experience is preferable, as prior experience in handling labor force is crucial in overall management of a dealership.
Job description:
- Manage the entire sales and service operations of the dealership, including back office, administration and human resource departments of the dealership, coordinate and liaison with bankers and financers.
- Will need to set targets for sales team and coordinate with team leaders to achieve required market share, will have to set labor and workshop targets and work closely with works managers to maximize turnover, at the same time achieving customer satisfaction through CSI and SSI initiatives.
- Spare parts inventory and sales, HR requirements will also need to be looked into.
- Aim to maximize profitability of the dealership by keeping close control over costs and increasing revenues through various channels; Will have to handle both sales and after sales manpower in the dealership including recruitment, training and day to day queries. Candidate will report directly to CEO, directors and manufacturer on a regular basis.
