Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity in Qatar for a Senior Planning Engineer.

The Senior Planning Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all planning requirements for all contracts and reports to the Senior Resident Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and comments on the contractor’s programme
• Interrogates submitted programmes and provides feedback / advice to the SRE and construction delivery team
• Reviews and comments on all component programmes as produced by the contractor including design, procurement and construction of all civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation matters
• Prepares look ahead and co-ordination programmes
• Progress reporting to the site team in format and timing stipulated by the Client

Requirements

• BEng /BSc (Hon) or equivalent discipline with minimum 14 years post graduate experience; at least 5 years of which should be in a relevant field
• Chartered preferred
• Regional experience preferred
• Experience in Infrastructure Works required
• Experience and proven ability to supervise projects and project team
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office
• Experience with Primavera P6 required
