Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on working knowledge on Linux (mainly) and Windows servers
- Good knowledge of virtualization environments (preferred Oracle VMTM, and Citrix XEN ServerTM)
- Problem solving skills and learning attitude
- Daily routine work of servers like monitoring, checking events, Checking Services, Updating new patches
- Overall goal for the candidate is the stability of operations and contributions towards the technical enhancements and assistance in reduction of outages.
- The candidate will have to work in flexible shifts (24/7 Support) and should be a team player with good communication skills.
- Good Documentation Skills
- Responsible of working in a team environment and resolve incidents as per the assigned SLAs, maintaining excellent service levels and Customer Satisfaction.
- Disaster Recovery
- Remotely checking and monitoring Servers
- Checking for new Security and Vulnerabilities alerts regularly. Maintaining the Server checklist and documents as per company policy
- Maintaining the standard security company policies on servers/Applications
- Sharing, Mapping, Compression, Disk Quota, Offline files & folders NTFS & Sharing Permission
- Knowledge of PCs
- Trouble shooting LAN & WAN Networks
- Managing user & Group & their rights
- Back up/ Restore File, Folder & any type Software
- Disk Management
- Designing & Implementation of New Linux and Microsoft Servers including application and services like, DHCP, DNS, FTP, Proxy, Antivirus, Active Directory, and Mail Services
- Configuration Terminal Services
