Job Position: Business Application Developer

Job Location:  Bengaluru (Bangalore)

Job Description:

 Key Skills and Development Experience:

• Experience of developing web, client-server and standalone applications including:
• Solution Design
• Object Oriented Designing and Programming
• Problem Analysis
• Reverse engineering / trouble shooting issues
• Using Microsoft technologies including:
• X++ / Morph X / C# (Dynamics)
• SQL server, SSRS and SSAS
• SharePoint
• InfoPath
• Visual Studio
• .Net
• XML
• T-SQL

System Development:

• The focus of all development will be with the core business applications:
• Microsoft Dynamics AX version 2009 (version 2012)
• SharePoint 2010
• Using Microsoft development tools and supporting products such as Microsoft SQL Reporting Services and InfoPath.
• Core business application services are Finance, Projects, HR and CRM

Responsibility:

• An in-house developer is required to assist with the development and support of corporate systems which are provided through Microsoft technologies:
• Business Applications Development
• Microsoft Dynamics development including:
• Customisation of most types of AOT objects including EDTs, Tables, Forms, Reports and Classes.
• Modification to EP role centre pages, user-controls and report libraries.
• Modifications to ‘Place’ forms to contain additional filters and fields, involving customisation of AOT query objects.
• Development support for Dynamics service pack and version upgrades.
• Development of data import/export programs to automate the business process for electronically produced data.
• Portal and BI Reporting
• Development of Dynamics cubes and portal functionality, required to deliver enhanced role centres to specific user groups.
• Continued development of the Dynamics enterprise portal for Sharepoint 2010, incorporating the graphical web parts available within this application for KPI reporting.
• Applications Upgrades
• Development of migration routines for Dynamics service pack and version upgrades.

Other Applications

• Development of SSRS reports and data models to provide bespoke reporting capability.
• Createform is used to reformat Dynamics documents required for external use. (i.e. purchase orders, sales invoices etc.)
• InfoPath is used to develop internal forms to request services or record standard information.
• SharePoint is used as the corporate document management and collaboration platform
• Exchange is used for all mail traffic from personal mail boxes, through public and customised application mail traffic management.

Business Support

• Manage issues recorded on the group’s support database. Assisting other team members with problem analysis, solution identification or application debugging to ensure issues are resolved speedily and satisfactorily for end users.
• Scripting SQL data updates to support organisational and other structural changes within the Dynamics set up.

Candidate Requirement

Education and Other Requirement:

• Microsoft certification beneficial
• Educated to degree level
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both within a team environment and in a lone situation.
• Good written and verbal skills.
• Organised and proactive.
• Keen to learn and develop..
• Experience:  4 - 7 years
